BARP, 35 g LOs, very jumpy, began to fly and hang onto walls as I entered. Did fall to corner and stayed there with eyes on me as I picked up LOs.

Right tibiotarsus: Matted feathers on the medial/midshaft aspect. Pulled feathers under anesthesia to reveal small puncture wound, yellow/green bruising.
Ectoparasites: none seen

Young BADO seen HBC by finders. Per finders, bird had been clipped by van at the legs, refused to fly away. On admission, bird presented very BAR and bitey. Bird was proving to be quite uncooperative so opted to anesthetize for wound care. Overall, NSF other than small leg wound. Very lucky, all things considered. Set up in KR2 kennel with towel and bird sat on hocks at the front, still waking up. Gave 1 whole white mouse. Plan to move somewhere covered tomorrow. If rads yield NSF and leg wound scabs over by day 3, release.

Scrubbed matted feathers with chlorhex to reveal clump of feathers
was acting as a plug in a small wound at medial aspect of L TBT.
Flushed wound with saline and extracted small feathers. Small
pocket has formed. Did not palpate other wounds along leg. Covered
with Silver Gel + telfa/tega bandage.
